World of History is an independent educational project, made with care and curiosity. It gathers more than 1,500 moments across the history of the cosmos and humanity.
While great effort goes into getting things right, this is the work of a single person, not a peer-reviewed encyclopedia. Some dates are approximate by nature — especially deep-time cosmic and prehistoric events, where science itself gives ranges rather than exact years — and errors or omissions are possible.
Please treat the timeline as a starting point for wonder, not a citable authority. For anything important, check primary sources. Each event links to further reading on Wikipedia.
This site is built to respect you. It does not ask for your name, email, or any personal information, and it has no accounts or logins.
