Marie Curie

Nobel Prize chemist & physicist

Polish-French physicist and chemist who was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and the only person to win in two different sciences (Physics 1903, Chemistry 1911). She discovered polonium and radium and pioneered research on radioactivity that would later enable cancer treatment and nuclear energy.
